.oO Arrival Oo.
The big day. Finally. Whee!
It started with the pleasant surprise that - for whatever reason - I didn't have to pay for my extra luggage (approx. 7kg to much...).
Btw I had to find out throughout the trip that I'm in no way trained to carry 30+ kg on a daily basis. Phew.)

When arriving in Paris CDG (which is an only theoretically air-conditioned airport with no clocks :) we were told that the connecting flight to Boston would ge delayed by 20 airline minutes which mysteriously morphed into 2-3 hours. Boo. But my crankiness vanished when I found out that I was rebooked to business class. *glee* Stretching my legs and enjoying a top-class French dinner (with matching wines) = best flight ever.

I should be tired though since it's something like 28:36h for me now but instead I'm feeling hyperhyperhyperhyper.

Hee!

no clocks in an airport? why, i've never heard of such a thing! :D

business-class upgrades rock. we got one on the flight home. yay for real food, yay for wine, and most of all YAY for leg room! (and fuzzy socks.)

and yeah, lugging carry-on luggage is a pain. of course, i viewed much of that as field training for this coming weekend. :)

Ahem.

Change of plans = If this is still on time, please bring the documents to FRFF. We can put them in Chris' car right away. Sounds like a plan:) I can't promise that I'll make it to Philly in that week due to apartment hunting and/or red tape cutting activities...

okay, they're packed. now you just have to remind me to give them to you. since you'll be seeing me anyway for a sleeping bag (Steve already has your tent there), it shouldn't be terribly hard to remember. :D
